Three uninterrupted days to bring your one day ideas to life.
Fall Break is happening September 14-16, 2026 👇🏼
I see you over there. Hitting all the marks.
Everything looks fine from the outside—great even. Fifteen years in and you’re known for something. You have the tenure and the track record.
You could stay here forever. But something is stirring.
You’re starting get to itchy realizing the you’ve outgrown what you once wanted. Of course you can’t admit this. What message would that send to your clients? Plus you’ve watched others pivot and heard the chatter: “She’s doing what now?”
You’ve seen others who’ve decided to slow down or step away altogether only to be met with, “Must be nice.”
Seems like a no-win situation. It certainly doesn’t make you any more encouraged to choose something different.
Instead, the what ifs circle round in your brain like a washing machine on the heavy duty cycle.
There are plenty of people you could talk to: your therapist, a business or career coach, a brand strategist. But you need more than affirmation. You want action. To get it done. To close this tab. To free up some precious brain space.
One thing’s for sure: the perspective and momentum you’re craving isn’t showing up inside your daily rhythms.
Step away from the noise of your life to hear yourself more clearly.
The Bench is a highly curated, in-person experience helping you reconnect with what you want to be known for and position yourself accordingly.
Over the past year, The Bench brought together seventeen women across industries to think more honestly about their work and lives and shift, pivot, and change direction accordingly.
This experience showed us a few things:
📌 There aren’t a lot of places we can bring our full selves—the work, the professional, and the side effects of both.
📌 The quality and caliber of women surrounding you matter. When you’re getting honest about where you are and what you want, you need opinions you can trust and experience you can relate to.
📌Busy women don’t need another recurring meeting on their calendars. We need high-impact experiences that we can step into, fully immerse ourselves in, and come out the other side energized.
The next evolution of The Bench builds on this.

September 14 - 16, 2026
THE CATSKILLS, NEW YORK
There’s something about back to school season that makes change feel possible. The energy shifts. The distractions fade. What’s been sitting quietly in the background all summer suddenly feels right on time.
what you’ll experience in the bench
GATHER YOUR HANDWRITTEN NOTES, YOUR HALF-FORMED GOOGLE DOCS, AND YOUR BOOTS AND JOIN US FOR FALL BREAK IN THE CATSKILL MOUNTAINS.
This is where the thing you’ve been carrying quietly starts to become real. The idea. The offer. The shift. The boundary. The version of yourself you haven’t fully stepped into yet.
Not through endless processing or girl-power-pump-you-up glossy b.s., but through honest reflection, sharp feedback, strategic perspective, and the momentum that comes from being surrounded by peers who understand what’s at stake.
This is designed for you if you’re:
Changing your business, who you serve, and/or what services you offer
Rebranding but unsure how to explain exactly what this next version looks and sounds like
Pivoting your career, going back in-house, or starting a business of your own
Finally prioritizing a passion or personal project that’s been de-prioritized in the name of making money
Becoming more visible with your expertise: writing a book, starting a podcast, pitching yourself for appearances and features
You could try to do it alone—keep typing into Claude: What else could I do with my skills that people would pay for?
You could put it off for another year. Nothing would break…except maybe your heart. Your soul. You know, those little things.
Or you could be in a room with women who have your back. Who want you to succeed. Who won’t see your question asking as brain picking because they know it’s reciprocal.
The Bench is where you step into the next chapter of your life and work.
“I don’t have a lot of people in my life that can talk equally about the same things: business growth and being present in this very messy middle season of my life.”
— Laurel, Multi-Hyphenate Entrepreneur
About Your Facilitator
Kim Wensel is a writer and creative entrepreneur whose work explores how women navigate work, identity, and change. She creates the conditions for high-achieving women to stop holding themselves back in the name of capability and expectations and start moving towards the things they really want.
As a master of reinvention, Kim’s career has taken her across sectors, from nonprofits to academia to agencies and entrepreneurship. This range allows her to make connections and spot patterns and possibilities that others miss.
If you ask anyone who’s worked with her, they’d agree that Kim has a way of hearing what’s not said as much as what is and will lovingly hold you up to a decision point while walking you through it.

A Final Note
There isn’t a clean way to measure what happens in rooms like this. There’s no guaranteed ROI tied to a specific outcome. And that can feel uncomfortable.
Yet, you know that a year from now you could very well be in the same place—still circling the same questions, still waiting for the right moment to act.
Or you could be somewhere different. Clearer. More expressed. More in motion.
The Bench is where ideas take shape. We hope you’ll join us.
